Trump anuncia oficial da imigração Tom Homan como 'czar da fronteira'
O presidente eleito dos Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, anunciou no domingo à noite que o solene da imigração Tom Homan assumirá o missão de supervisor das fronteiras nacionais em seu novo governo.
“Tenho o prazer de anunciar que o ex-diretor do ICE e patrono do controle de fronteiras, Tom Homan, se unirá ao governo Trump, porquê responsável pelas fronteiras da nossa região (‘O Czar da Fronteira’)”, publicou Trump em sua rede social Truth Social.
ICE é a {sigla} da escritório americana de imigração e alfândega dos Estados Unidos.
“Eu conheço Tom há muito tempo e não há ninguém melhor para policiar e controlar nossas fronteiras”, acrescentou.
O presidente eleito, de 78 anos, prometeu iniciar no primeiro dia de seu novo procuração a maior operação de deportação de migrantes sem documentos da história dos Estados Unidos.
Também no domingo, Trump anunciou que a deputado republicana Elise Stefanik será a embaixadora dos Estados Uniodos na ONU.
“Estou honrado em anunciar Elise Stefanik para servir em meu gabinete porquê embaixadora dos Estados Unidos nas Nações. Elise é uma lutadora incrivelmente potente, dura e inteligente do ‘America First'”, afirmou Trump, em referência a sua política “Estados Unidos em primeiro lugar”, em um transmitido enviado ao jornal New York Post.
Stefanik confirmou que aceitou o missão e se declarou “realmente honrada”.
